Phumla is an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in ergonomics.Phumla decided to move out of corporate work and start her own business because she needed more flexibility to be available to her two young children.Phumla started Motsa Health in 2017, expanding her range of services beyond just hourly-based consulting. To scale her business, she added ergonomics assessments, corporate consulting, and group training sessions to her offer suite.As the “Chair Matchmaker,” Phumla helps remote workers to choose the ideal ergonomic chair, based on their body shape, ergonomic goals, and budget. Once matched up with a chair, people often go on to book a workstation assessment with Phumla.An ethical practitioner to her core, Phumla has stepped up as CEO of her business and taken charge of her earning potential. She is excited to inspire and equip other healthcare practitioners to do the same.
